Poll shows strong public support for . . . .

A poll released today by the Oregon League of Conservation Voters Education Fund shows very strong public support for Legislative action to tackle global warming and promote water conservation.

Doom and gloomers have predicted that with high gas prices, support for combating global warming would plummet. This poll shows that's not the case. The poll was taken in June when gas prices were near their peak. It showed that even when given an argument falsely suggesting that global warming solutions would significantly increase costs, a solid majority of Oregonians support strong action to combat global warming.
