How do you vote?

We don't want to know if you vote "D" or "R" when you sit down to mark your ballot. We're confident you'll make the right choice.

We want to know how you vote.

Do you already know who you're voting for before you open your ballot? Do you use endorsements, from OLCV for example, to help you decide? Perhaps you flip through the voter's guide and reach each entry very carefully before you make your considerations.

Do you vote alone in a dark room? Or at the dinner table with the rest of your family?

We want to know how you vote! So tell us.

I try to do all my research before hand - look at websites and stuff and then I use my voters guide as a reference.

sometimes i vote with my friends at a voting party.

I am wondering where my voter's guide is.

I want to vote early but I like to read the voters pamphlet cover to cover.

That is not true. I check out who OLCV has endorsed and vote for them first. If OLCV hasn't made an endorsement in a race - I ask my friends who they're voting for.

They usually have pretty good judgement. USUALLY.

I research as much as I can, meet them if possible, and if there is any kind of raised profile for the race, I watch how they run their campaigns. I do read the voters' guide, usually the LWV guide, and although not a deal-breaker, I do pay attention to endorsements. I am usually alone when I fill out my ballot, but I at least leave a light on so I can see!
